House Sponsors: RIGHTER-WOOLARD-BLACK-MATHIAS Short description: PREPAID TUITION CONTRACT-WARD Synopsis of Bill as introduced: Amends the Illinois Prepaid Tuition Act and the Probate Act of 1975. Provides that the Section exempting the assets and income of the Illinois Prepaid Tuition Trust Fund from taxation under the Illinois Income Tax Act are exempt from the sunset provisions of that Act. Provides that an Illinois prepaid tuition contract shall be considered an investment for the purpose of investing a ward's money under the Probate Act of 1975. Effective immediately.
