Provides that salary received for overtime, summer school, and other optional service shall be included in the calculation of salary for pension purposes. Amends the State Mandates Act to require implementation without reimbursement. Effective immediately. PENSION NOTE (Pension Laws Commission) If the average total compensation paid to members is 10% higher than regular salaries, the estimated increase in accrued lia- bility is $420.5 million, and the estimated increase in total annual cost is $30.2 million (2.11% of payroll).
