Increases the maximum amount the Department of Veterans Affairs may grant to a disabled veteran eligible for assistance with building or remodeling a house to accommodate the veteran's disability after the veteran has been approved under a certain federal Veteran's Affairs program from $12,000 to $15,000, and after approval under another federal Veteran's Affairs program from $2,000 to $3,000. FISCAL NOTE (Dept. of Veterans' Affairs) There would be a $40,000 increase in the projected FY2000 budget for specially adapted housing for veterans, based on grants for 10 disabled veterans per year.
