Senate Sponsors: DELEO. Short description: CRIM CD-LASER SIGHT ACCESSORY Synopsis of Bill as introduced: Amends the Criminal Code of 1961. Prohibits the sale or delivery of laser sight accessories. Provides that the penalty is a Class A misdemeanor. Exempts from the prohibition the sale or delivery of laser sight accessories to peace officers and members of the Armed Forces. Provides for immunity if a person voluntarily and peaceably delivers and abandons a laser sight accessory to a law enforcement officer within 14 days after the effective date of the amendatory Act.
