Requires a superintendent to report an incident involving a weapon or crime of violence (instead of a firearm) in a school or on school property to local law enforcement authorities as soon as possible (instead of no later than 24 hours) after the occurrence, as well as to the Department of State Police. Provides that the State Board of Education shall receive an annual statistical compilation and related data associated with incidents involving weapons and crimes of violence (instead of firearms) in schools from the Department of State Police.
