SEX OFFENDR MANAGMT BD-PROCEDR                                             

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Sex Offender Management Board Act.  Provides that  the      
   Sex  Offender  Management  Board  must  establish  procedures  for the      
   evaluation and identification of sex offenders and the  counseling  of      
   sex  offenders within 36 months after July 22, 1997 (now the standards      
   must be established within 18  months  after  that  date).   Effective      
   immediately.
