Requires the Health Facilities Planning Board to report quarterly to the General Assembly the number of the Board's decisions that are being litigated and the cost of that litigation. Effective January 1, 2000. HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1. Deletes everything. Amends the Illinois Health Facilities Planning Act. Requires the Health Facilities Planning Board to report to the General Assembly on or before January 1, 2000 on the impact of State and federal antitrust laws on the availability, cost, and quality of health care provided in those regions of the State that are medically underserved.
