VEH CD-REPEAT DUI-BOAT-SNOWMBL                                             

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Illinois  Vehicle  Code.   Provides  that  a  previous      
   conviction  for  operating  a  boat  or  snowmobile  while  under  the      
   influence  of  alcohol  shall  be  the equivalent of driving under the      
   influence when determining the penalty  for  a  second  or  subsequent      
   conviction  for  driving  under  the  influence.  Effective January 1,      
   2000.
