Short description: 
TAXES AND FEES-VEHICLES-LIQUOR                                             

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Liquor Control Act of 1934 to decrease the rate of tax      
   on  beer,  wine,  and  liquor.  Amends  the  Illinois  Vehicle   Code.      
   Decreases  registration  and  certain  other  fees  and taxes. Deletes      
   requirement that certain fees be deposited in the Road  Fund  and  the      
   Motor  Vehicle  License  Plate  Fund.  Provides that certain qualified      
   senior citizens will continue to pay 50% of the regular passenger  car      
   registration rate (rather than a $24 fee scheduled to take effect with      
   the 2001 registration year). Effective January 1, 2001.
