Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Downstate Teacher Article of the Illinois Pension Code      
   to add 2 elected annuitants  to  the  Board  of  Trustees.   Effective      
   immediately.                                                                
          PENSION NOTE (Pension Laws Commission)                               
          HB 4347 would have no fiscal impact on the System.                   
        HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1.                                                 
        Replaces everything.  Amends the Downstate Teacher Article of the      
   Illinois Pension Code to add one elected annuitant  to  the  Board  of      
   Trustees.  Effective immediately.
