Compounds the annual increase in retirement annuity for annuities calculated under the special formula for sheriff's law enforcement employees (SLEPs). Amends the State Mandates Act to require implementation without reimbursement. Effective immediately. PENSION NOTE (Pension Laws Commission) The fiscal impact of HB 4083 has not been determined, but could be substantial for SLEP employers. The supplemental benefit payment (13th check) will continue for SLEP employees, in addition to the compounded annual increase for the retirement annuity.
