Short description: NON PROFIT CHILDRENS EXEMPTION Synopsis of Bill as introduced: Amends the Use Tax Act, the Service Use Tax Act, the Service Occupation Tax Act, and the Retailers' Occupation Tax Act. Exempts from the taxes imposed by these Acts personal property, including food, purchased from an entity organized under the General Not For Profit Corporation Act of 1986 if the sale proceeds are used for children's services or activities. Excepts the provisions from the sunset requirements. Effective January 1, 2001.
