Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
Amends the Illinois Parentage Act of 1984. Provides that if a
man who is not presumed to be the natural father of a child brings an
action to determine the existence of the father and child
relationship, the court, before ordering DNA or other tests, shall
hold a hearing to determine whether it is in the best interests of the

physical, mental, moral, or emotional well-being, and any other
factors deemed relevant by the court.
