Makes a technical change in a Section concerning income withholding notices. SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 1. Deletes reference to: 750 ILCS 28/20 Adds reference to: 305 ILCS 5/10-16.6 750 ILCS 28/35 Deletes everything. Amends the child support enforcement Article of the Illinois Public Aid Code and the Income Withholding for Support Act. Provides that the Electronic Funds Transfer Committee within the Department of Public Aid shall report before and is abolished on December 1, 2002 (rather than 2001). Requires that after March 1, 2001 (rather than June 30, 2000), payors that have 250 or more employees must use electronic funds transfer to pay amounts withheld from employees' income for the payment of support. Provides that during the year 2002 (rather than 2001) and each year thereafter, payors that have fewer than 250 employees and withhold income pursuant to 10 or more income withholding notices must use electronic funds transfer to pay amounts withheld from employees' income for the payment of support. Effective immediately.
