Provides that, at the discretion of the Department of Insurance, upon request by an applicant the examination for an insurance producer license may be administered in a language other than English. HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1. Provides for examinations to be given in Korean, Polish, and Spanish in addition to English. Provides that translation services may be provided upon request by an applicant. Provides that provisions regarding examinations in alternative languages become inoperative 3 years after the effective date of this amendatory Act.
