Short description: PEN CD-CHGO TCHR-SUSPENSION Synopsis of Bill as introduced: Amends the Chicago Teacher Article of the Pension Code. Provides that pension payments shall no longer be suspended while the recipient is employed in a teaching capacity by a public school or charter school located in this State but outside the City of Chicago. Reinstates pensions that are currently suspended for this reason. Amends the State Mandates Act to require implementation without reimbursement. Effective immediately. PENSION NOTE (Pension Laws Commission) The fiscal impact cannot be calculated; the number of annuities that would be reinstated and would avoid suspension is unknown.
