Senate Sponsors: WALSH,T Short description: MOTOR VEH FRANCHISE-RELOCATION Synopsis of Bill as introduced: Amends the Motor Vehicle Franchise Act by changing the criteria by which to determine the applicability of the Section concerning unfair competition and practices to relocations of existing dealerships. Deletes provisions which make that Section inapplicable to such relocations when the new location is further away from the nearest dealer of the same line make. Effective immediately. HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1. Provides that certain dealers may not file a written protest against dealership relocation with the Motor Vehicle Review Board.
