HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1. Adds reference to: 30 ILCS 105/5.541 new Deletes everything. Creates the Food Animal Institute Act and amends the State Finance Act. Establishes a Food Animal Institute to review research and disseminate information about the food animal industry with unbiased integrity. Provides that the Institute is governed by a board of 15 Governor-appointees with non-voting members from universities. Provides for the Institute's expenses and creates a special fund in the State treasury. Effective immediately.
