Short description: LICENSE PLATES-VIETNAM VETS Synopsis of Bill as introduced: Amends the State Finance Act and the Illinois Vehicle Code. Creates the Illinois Veterans' Homes Fund as a special fund in the State treasury. Provides that the Secretary of State may issue special Illinois Vietnam Veterans license plates to persons who participated in the United States Armed Forces during the Vietnam conflict. Provides for an initial fee of $15 and an annual fee of $2, in addition to the normal fees. Provides that $2 of the original issuance fee shall be deposited in the Illinois Veterans' Homes Fund, to be used to stock the libraries of the State's Veterans' Homes. Provides that the $2 annual fee and the remaining $13 of the original issuance fee shall be deposited in the Secretary of State Special License Plate Fund.
