$DPT LOTTERY                                                               

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Appropriates $1 from the General Revenue Fund to  the  Department      
   of  the  Lottery for its ordinary and contingent expenses.   Effective      
   July 1, 1999.                                                               
        HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1.                                                 
        Deletes everything after the enacting clause.  Appropriates            
   $64,445,700 to the Department of the Lottery for ordinary and               
   contingent expenses.  Appropriates $300,000,000 to the Department of        
   the Lottery for payment of prizes.  Appropriates $35,000 to the             
   Department of the Lottery  for payment to the Department of State           
   Police for investigatory services.
