FARM MACHINERY TAX EXEMPTION                                               

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Use Tax Act, Service Use Tax Act,  Service  Occupation      
   Tax  Act,  and  the  Retailers'  Occupation Tax Act concerning the tax      
   exemption granted for farm machinery and equipment.  Provides that the      
   exemption applies only to purchases  of  more  than  $250.   Effective      
   January 1, 2000.
