IL PROMOTION-COORDINATING COMM                                             

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois. Adds a caption       
   to a Section concerning creation or retention of full-time jobs in the      
   Department of Commerce and Community Affairs (DCCA).                        
        HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1.                                                 
          Deletes reference to:                                                
          20 ILCS 605/46.5a                                                    
          Adds reference to:                                                   
          20 ILCS 665/46 new                                                   
        Deletes everything.  Amends the Illinois Promotion Act.   Creates      
   a  Coordinating  Committee  of State agencies involved with tourism in      
   the State of Illinois.  Provides that the Committee shall  consist  of      
   the  Director  of DCCA as chairman, the Lieutenant Governor, the heads      
   of several departments and agencies or their designees, and 4  members      
   of the General Assembly, of whom one shall be appointed by the Speaker      
   of  the  House, one by the House Minority Leader, one by the President      
   of the Senate, and one by the Senate Minority Leader.   Provides  that      
   the  Committee  shall  meet  at  least  quarterly  to  coordinate  the      
   promotion and development of tourism within the State.
