Short description:
INC TX-RESTAURANT IMMUNIZATION

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
Amends the Illinois Income Tax Act. Grants a credit against the
tax imposed by the Act in the amount paid for hepatitis A
immunizations or other immunizations recommended by a federal center
for disease control and prevention given to a food service
establishment's employees who are residents of this State. Provides
that the amount of the credit may not exceed the usual and customary
fee that would be paid for the immunizations under a State sponsored
health insurance program. Provides that if the amount of a credit
exceeds the tax liability for the year, then the excess may not be
refunded to the taxpayer or carried forward to a succeeding year's tax
liability. Exempts the credit from the Act's sunset requirement.
   Effective immediately.
