CD CORR-AGGR FACTOR-FIREARM                                                

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the "Factors in Aggravation" Section of the  Unified  Code      
   of Corrections.  Authorizes a court to consider, as a reason to impose      
   an  extended  term  sentence,  that  the  defendant was convicted of a      
   felony and used a firearm with a laser sight in the commission of  the      
   felony.

          There will be minimal fiscal and prison population impact.
