House Sponsors: SCULLY. Short description: CRIM CD-DOMESTIC BATTERY Synopsis of Bill as introduced: Amends the Criminal Code of 1961. Provides that in addition to any other sentencing alternatives, a person convicted of a first offense for domestic battery shall be mandatorily sentenced to a minimum of 24 consecutive hours of imprisonment.
