Short description: 
VEH CD-REGISTRATION-TECHNICAL                                              

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code to make a  stylistic  change  to      
   the Section concerned with vehicle registration.                            
        HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1.                                                 
          Deletes reference to:                                                
          625 ILCS 5/3-801                                                     
          Adds reference to:                                                   
          625 ILCS 45/5-18                from Ch. 95 1/2, par. 315-13         
          625 ILCS 45/11A-4               from Ch. 95 1/2, par. 321A-4         
        Deletes everything. Amends the Boat Registration and Safety  Act.      
   Provides  that no person under 14 years of age (instead of 10 years of      
   age) may operate a watercraft (instead of motorboat).   Provides  that      
   no  person  born  after  December  31,  1978  may operate a watercraft      
   without first obtaining a Boating Safety Certificate.  Provides that a      
   person who operates a watercraft in  a  careless  or  reckless  manner      
   shall  (instead  of  at  the  court's  discretion) not be permitted to      
   operate a watercraft for at least 2 years (instead  of  at  least  one      
   year).

          The bill would not increase the number of judges needed.
