Increases by one year the number of years of language arts, mathematics, science and social studies that a pupil entering 9th grade in the 1999-2000 or a subsequent school year must successfully complete in order to graduate. Effective immediately. FISCAL NOTE (State Board of Education) The cost would be at the local level, rather than at the State level.
