POWER OF ATTY-ANATOMICAL GIFT                                              

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Powers of Attorney for  Health  Care  Law  within  the      
   Illinois Power of Attorney Act. On the statutory short form power of        
   attorney for health care, replaces language authorizing an agent to         
   make a disposition of all or any part of the principal's body for           
   medical purposes with a specific authorization to make an anatomical        
   gift of any organ or specified organs.                                      
        HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1.                                                 
        Deletes  provision  making  an  agent's  authority  to   make   a      
   disposition  of  the  principal's  body  conditioned on that authority      
   appearing on the face of the statutory short form  power  of  attorney      
   for health care.
