PETKA-O'MALLEY. (REITZ-LOPEZ-BOST-JONES,JOHN) 730 ILCS 5/5-8-4 from Ch. 38, par. 1005-8-4 Amends the Unified Code of Corrections. Requires the court to impose consecutive sentences for offenses that were committed as part of a single course of conduct during which there was no substantial change in the nature of the criminal objective when one of the offenses for which the defendant was convicted (in addition to the other specified offenses) was first degree murder.
