   HOLBROOK, JONES,LOU, GILES AND CURRY,JULIE.

   310 ILCS 50/3             from Ch. 67 1/2, par. 853                         

        Amends the  Abandoned  Housing  Rehabilitation  Act.   Deletes  a      
   requirement  that  property  must  have  been  tax  delinquent for the      
   preceding 2 years before an organization may  petition  for  temporary      
   possession of the property.                                                 
        HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1.                                                 
          Adds reference to:                                                   
          310 ILCS 50/2                   from Ch. 67 1/2, par. 852            
        Changes the definition of "property" by removing the  requirement      
   that  for  residential  real estate to be classified as "property" its      
   taxes must be delinquent for the preceding 2 years.
