 1                          SENATE RESOLUTION

 2        WHEREAS, The members  of  the  Illinois  Senate  wish  to
 3    express  their  sincere condolences to the family and friends
 4    of Robert A. "Bob" Sbarounis, who recently passed away; and

 5        WHEREAS, Robert A. "Bob" Sbarounis was born in Greece  on
 6    August 16, 1931; and

 7        WHEREAS,  Robert  A. "Bob" Sbarounis was the former owner
 8    of Family Restaurant in Beach Park,  and  more  recently  the
 9    owner of Bob & Anne's Restaurant in Waukegan; and

10        WHEREAS,  Robert  A.  "Bob" Sbarounis was a member of St.
11    Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Waukegan; he was a  member
12    of  AHEPA, Masonic Lodge #78 in Waukegan, where he was a 32nd
13    degree Master Mason, the Lake County Shrine Club, the Medinah
14    Temple in Chicago, the Scottish-Rite,  and  the  Little  Fort
15    Lions Club of Waukegan; and

16        WHEREAS, Robert A. "Bob" Sbarounis was a renowned golfer;
17    he  is remembered for helping children and people in need, as
18    well as being a kind, generous, and caring friend to  others;
19    and

20        WHEREAS,  Robert A. "Bob" Sbarounis will be remembered by
21    all that knew and were touched by him, especially  his  wife,
22    Anne; his daughter, Ellen (Nick) Giatnzikos; his sons, Arthur
23    (Betty)  Sbarounis,  John Sbarounis, and Van (Linda) Johnson;
24    his grandchildren, Tom and  Julia  Catsigris;  his  namesake,
25    Robert  Thomas  Sbarounis;  his  brother, John Sbarounis; his
26    sister, Popi Mihos;  his  nieces,  Julia  (Plato)  Tzouvalis,
27    Linda  (Jerry)  Bullen,  Evita  Mihos,  Liana Mihos, and Dina
28    Mihos; his nephews, Larry (Taureen) Jones, and Thomas (Vicki)
29    Sbarounis; his  twelve  nieces  and  nephews  in  Greece  and
30    America;   his   sister-in-law,   Josephine   Sbarounis;  his
31    brother-in-law, Bob Mihos; his cousins; and his many friends;

 1    therefore, be it

 2        RESOLVED, BY  THE  SENATE  OF  THE  NINETY-FIRST  GENERAL
 3    ASSEMBLY  OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
 4    all that knew him, the death of Robert  A.  "Bob"  Sbarounis;
 5    and be it further

 6        RESOLVED,  That  a  suitable  copy  of this resolution be
 7    presented to the family of Robert A. "Bob" Sbarounis.
