1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Senate were saddened to learn
3 of the death of Jeffrey Lee Mall of Montgomery on Tuesday,
4 July 6, 1999; and
5 WHEREAS, He was born in Aurora on August 23, 1948, the
6 son of John "Jake" and Catherine Mall; and
7 WHEREAS, A life member and past Commander of Montgomery
8 Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #7452, he was a three-time
9 recipient of the All-American Commander Award; and
10 WHEREAS, He was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church,
11 and was affiliated with the Amvets Post #103, the Yorkville
12 American Legion, and the 1st Air Cavalry Association; and
13 WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his mother,
14 Catherine, and by several aunts and uncles; and
15 WHEREAS, His passing will be deeply felt by his family
16 and friends, especially his father, John "Jake" Mall; his
17 brothers, Charles Mall, Randolph Mall, and Paul Lewis; his
18 sister and brother-in-law, Catherine and John Mall-Baake; and
19 his nieces, Marcia Klein, Emily Baake, and Katrina Baake;
20 therefore, be it
21 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIRST GENERAL
22 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we note with sorrow
23 and regret the death of Jeffrey Lee Mall and extend our
24 sincere condolences to his family and friends; and be it
25 further
26 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
27 presented to his father, John "Jake" Mall.
