1 SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION
2 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIRST GENERAL
3 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, THE HOUSE OF
4 REPRESENTATIVES CONCURRING HEREIN, That the Illinois Gaming
5 Board shall be directed to conduct a study of minority person
6 and female ownership among all riverboat licenses pursuant to
7 Senate Bill 1017 of the Ninety-First General Assembly; and be
8 it further
9 RESOLVED, That the terms "minority person" and "female"
10 shall have the meanings provided in Section 2 of the Business
11 Enterprise for Minorities, Females, and Persons with
12 Disabilities Act; and be it further
13 RESOLVED, That the Gaming Board shall report the findings
14 to the General Assembly no later than January 1, 2000; and be
15 it further
16 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be sent
17 to the Executive Director of the Gaming Board.
