1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1871
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend Senate Bill 1871 on page 1, by
3 inserting below line 3 the following:
4 "Section 3. The State Comptroller Act is amended by
5 changing Section 14 as follows:
6 (15 ILCS 405/14) (from Ch. 15, par. 214)
7 Sec. 14. Forms of documents. The Comptroller may
8 prescribe and require State agencies to use forms for all
9 documents required by law in the performance of his duties or
10 which he may reasonably require therefor. The Comptroller
11 may prescribe by rule the general nature of information to be
12 contained in contracts required to be filed with him under
13 Section 20-80 of the Illinois Procurement Code Sections 11
14 and 15 of this Act. Any such rule shall be adopted, amended
15 or repealed as provided by the Illinois Administrative
16 Procedure Act.
17 The Comptroller may, when he deems it advisable for the
18 promotion of efficiency in State government, accept magnetic
19 tape vouchers, electronically submitted vouchers, and
20 computer output microfiche vouchers. The Comptroller shall
21 process such vouchers as provided in Section 9. These
22 vouchers shall be subject to conditions and requirements

1 established by the Comptroller.
2 Computer output microfiche vouchers shall be deemed
3 original records under the Comptroller's Records Act.
