1 AN ACT to amend the Illinois Procurement Code by adding
2 Section 30-50.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Illinois Procurement Code is amended by
6 adding Section 30-50 as follows:
7 (30 ILCS 500/30-50 new)
8 Sec. 30-50. Project labor agreements. A project labor
9 agreement may be entered into for a construction contract
10 subject to this Code. If a construction contract involves a
11 project labor agreement, then the State agency, the local
12 labor organizations, and the local contractors' association
13 must enter into the agreement.
