91_SB1148eng SB1148 Engrossed LRB9106161REdv 1 AN ACT concerning economic development. 2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 3 represented in the General Assembly: 4 Section 5. The Civil Administrative Code of Illinois is 5 amended by adding Section 46.5b as follows: 6 (20 ILCS 605/46.5b new) 7 Sec. 46.5b. Report. The Department of Commerce and 8 Community Affairs shall report, on or before March 31 of each 9 year, to the Governor and the General Assembly with respect 10 to all economic development programs administered by the 11 Department. The report shall evaluate the effectiveness of 12 each program and make recommendations for legislative 13 changes.
