91_SB1133enr SB1133 Enrolled LRB9106007NTsbA 1 AN ACT to amend the School Code by adding Sections 2 2-3.126, 10-20.31, and 34-18.18. 3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 4 represented in the General Assembly: 5 Section 5. The School Code is amended by adding Sections 6 2-3.126, 10-20.31, and 34-18.18 as follows: 7 (105 ILCS 5/2-3.126 new) 8 Sec. 2-3.126. Job training program; prohibition. The 9 State Board of Education shall not require a school district 10 or a student of any district to participate in any 11 school-to-work or job training program. 12 (105 ILCS 5/10-20.31 new) 13 Sec. 10-20.31. Occupational standards. A school board 14 shall not require a student to meet occupational standards 15 for grade level promotion or graduation unless that student 16 is voluntarily enrolled in a job training program. 17 (105 ILCS 5/34-18.18 new) 18 Sec. 34-18.18. Occupational standards. The Board shall 19 not require a student to meet occupational standards for 20 grade level promotion or graduation unless that student is 21 voluntarily enrolled in a job training program.
