1 AN ACT regarding appropriations.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 1. The sum of $11,500,000, or so much thereof as
5 may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue
6 Fund to the Criminal Justice Information Authority for grants
7 to counties on a per capita basis for the purpose of funding
8 costs associated with Year 2000 computer conversions and
9 related activities at County Sheriffs' Departments and
10 Circuit Clerks' Offices.
11 Section 5. This Act takes effect July 1, 1999.
