 1        AN  ACT  to  amend  the  Metropolitan  Water  Reclamation
 2    District Act by adding Sections 281 and 282.

 3        Be it enacted by the People of  the  State  of  Illinois,
 4    represented in the General Assembly:

 5        Section  5.  The  Metropolitan Water Reclamation District
 6    Act is amended by adding Sections 281 and 282 as follows:

 7        (70 ILCS 2605/281 new)
 8        Sec. 281.  Annexation.  On the  effective  date  of  this
 9    amendatory  Act  of  the 91st General Assembly, the corporate
10    limits  of  the  Metropolitan  Water  Reclamation   District,
11    formerly  known  as  the  Metropolitan  Sanitary  District of
12    Greater Chicago and as the Sanitary District of Chicago,  are
13    extended  to include the following described tracts and those
14    tracts are annexed to the District:
15        Parcel No. 1:  Part of the  Southwest  Quarter  (1/4)  of
16    Section  34  and  part of the Southeast Quarter of Section 33
17    both in the Township 42  North,  Range  9  East  of  the  3rd
18    Principal  Meridian bounded and described as follows, to-wit:
19    beginning at intersection of the centerline of State Route 72
20    (Higgins Road) with the  East  line  line  of  the  Southwest
21    Quarter  of  said  Section  34,  thence South 00° 00'00" East,
22    along said East line, 750.17 feet to the South line  of  said
23    Southwest  Quarter;  thence  South  89° 45'29"  West along the
24    South line of said Southwest Quarter and its extension to the
25    West right-of-way line of Bartlett Road, 2671.59 feet; thence
26    North 00° 07'32" West, 149.11  feet;  Thence  North  04° 30'29"
27    West,  599.57 feet; thence North 01° 57'02" East, 628.57 feet;
28    thence  North  89° 52'20"  East,  6.00  feet;   thence   North
29    00° 07'40"  West  to  the  intersection with the centerline of
30    said State Route 72 (Higgins Road) 395.60 feet; the last five
31    calls were along the West right-of-way line of Bartlett  Road

 1    and  its  extensions;  thence  South 69° 27'07" East along the
 2    centerline of said State Route  72  (Higgins  Road),  2930.18
 3    feet to the Point of Beginning.

 5        Sec.  282.  Annexation.   On  the  effective date of this
 6    amendatory Act of the 91st General  Assembly,  the  corporate
 7    limits   of  the  Metropolitan  Water  Reclamation  District,
 8    formerly known  as  the  Metropolitan  Sanitary  District  of
 9    Greater  Chicago and as the Sanitary District of Chicago, are
10    extended to include the following described tracts and  those
11    tracts are annexed to the District:
12        Parcel No. 1:
13        THAT  PART  OF  THE EAST HALF OF THE NORTHWEST QUARTER OF
14        SECTION 21, TOWNSHIP 41 NORTH, RANGE 9, EAST OF THE THIRD
15        PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:  COMMENCING  AT
16        THE  NORTHWEST  QUARTER  OF THE NORTHEAST QUARTER OF SAID
17        SECTION 21; THENCE SOUTH  ALONG  THE  EAST  LINE  OF  THE
18        NORTHWEST  QUARTER  OF  SAID  SECTION, 355.00 FEET TO THE
19        CENTER LINE OF PUBLIC HIGHWAY FOR A POINT OF BEGINNING;
20        THENCE SOUTH 00 DEGREES 23 MINUTES 00 SECONDS WEST  ALONG
21        THE  EAST  LINE OF THE NORTHWEST QUARTER OF SAID SECTION,
22        1617.40 FEET; THENCE  NORTH  62  DEGREES  22  MINUTES  00
23        SECONDS  WEST,  1094.00  FEET; THENCE NORTH 40 DEGREES 14
24        MINUTES 00 SECONDS EAST, 218.46  FEET;  THENCE  NORTH  28
25        DEGREES  49  MINUTES 00 SECONDS WEST, 702.45 FEET; THENCE
26        NORTH 69 DEGREES 48 MINUTES 00 SECONDS WEST, 125.10  FEET
27        TO  THE  CENTER  LINE  OF PUBLIC HIGHWAY, THENCE NORTH 55
28        DEGREES 45 MINUTES 00 SECONDS EAST ALONG THE CENTER  LINE
29        OF  SAID  PUBLIC  HIGHWAY,  224.20  FEET; THENCE NORTH 81

31        LINE, 1121.00 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING (EXCEPT FROM
32        AFORESAID  THAT  PART  OF  SAID  PREMISES CONVEYED TO THE
33        COUNTY OF COOK FOR HIGHWAY PURPOSES BY DEED DATED MAY 12,

 4        LOT 26 (EXCEPT THAT PART FALLING IN  THE  BED  OF  POPLAR
 5        CREEK) IN COUNTY CLERK'S DIVISION OF SECTION 21, TOWNSHIP
 6        41  NORTH, RANGE 9, EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN,
 7        IN COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS.

 8        ALSO KNOWN AS: 1296 SCHAUMBURG ROAD.
 9        CONTAINING 1261757.00 SQUARE FEET OR 28.97 ACRES, MORE OR
10        LESS.
11        PARCEL 1: PERMANENT INDEX NUMBER = 06-21-101-011

13        Section 99.  Effective date.  This Act takes effect  upon
14    becoming law.
