1 AN ACT to amend the Riverboat Gambling Act by adding
2 Section 11.2.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Riverboat Gambling Act is amended by
6 adding Section 11.2 as follows:
7 (230 ILCS 10/11.2 new)
8 Sec. 11.2. Dockside gambling petition. A licensee may
9 petition the Board for permission to operate a dockside
10 gambling pilot program if the licensee has received
11 $25,000,000 or less in adjusted gross receipts from gambling
12 games authorized under this Act during the 12 months
13 immediately preceding the submission of its petition. The
14 Board has the discretion to approve or deny any petition for
15 a dockside gambling pilot program and to set the duration and
16 other terms of any pilot program it approves.
17 If a licensee earns more than $25,000,000 in adjusted
18 gross receipts from gambling games authorized under this Act
19 in a 12-month period after it begins a dockside gambling
20 pilot program, the Board may, but is not required to,
21 terminate the dockside gambling pilot program.
