1 AN ACT concerning real property.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. Upon the payment of the sum of $1 to the
5 State of Illinois and the tender by the Village of Tinley
6 Park of a certified survey of the land described in this
7 Section, current within 6 months, the Secretary of Human
8 Services is authorized to convey by quitclaim deed to the
9 Village of Tinley Park all right, title, and interest in and
10 to the land in Cook County, Illinois commonly known as:
11 THAT PART OF THE WEST 1900 FEET OF THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER
12 OF SECTION 36, TOWNSHIP 36 NORTH, RANGE 12 EAST OF THE
13 THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN LYING SOUTHERLY OF THE SOUTHERLY
14 RIGHT OF WAY OF THE CHICAGO, ROCK ISLAND AND PACIFIC
15 RAILROAD (COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE METRALINE) AND LYING
16 NORTHERLY OF THE NORTHERN TRIBUTARY TO THE UNION DRAINAGE
17 DITCH (EXCEPTING THEREFROM THAT PART, IF ANY, TAKEN FOR
18 80TH AVENUE), IN COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS AND CONTAINING 56
19 ACRES.
20 The legal description of the land that appears in the
21 quitclaim deed shall conform to the survey required under
22 this Section.
23 Section 10. Upon the payment of the sum of $1 to the
24 State of Illinois, the Secretary of Human Services is
25 authorized to convey by quitclaim deed to the United Cerebral
26 Palsy Association of Greater Chicago all right, title, and
27 interest in and to the following described land in Cook
28 County, Illinois:
29 THAT PART OF THE SOUTH 1/2 OF SECTION 36, TOWNSHIP 36
30 NORTH, RANGE 12, EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN,
31 DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: COMMENCING AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER

1 OF SAID SECTION 36; THENCE WEST ALONG THE SOUTH LINE OF
2 SAID SECTION 36, 2237.39 FEET; THENCE NORTH 0 degrees 00
3 minutes WEST, ALONG A LINE PERPENDICULAR TO SAID SOUTH
4 LINE, 50.00 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING ON THE NORTH
5 LINE OF 183RD STREET; THENCE CONTINUING NORTH 0 degrees
6 00 minutes WEST, 124.75 FEET; THENCE NORTH 33 degrees 04
7 minutes WEST, 99.70 FEET; THENCE NORTH 72 degrees 25
8 minutes 40 seconds WEST, 105.00 FEET; THENCE NORTH 90
9 DEGREES WEST, 139.51 FEET; THENCE SOUTH 0 degrees 00
10 minutes EAST, 240.00 FEET; THENCE EAST, 294.01 FEET TO
11 THE POINT OF BEGINNING, ALL IN COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS AND
12 CONTAINING 1.50 ACRES.
13 Section 15. The Secretary of Human Services shall obtain
14 a certified copy of the portions of this Act containing the
15 title, the enacting clause, the effective date, the
16 appropriate Sections containing the land descriptions of
17 property to be transferred, and this Section within 60 days
18 after this Act's effective date and, upon receipt of payment
19 required by the appropriate Sections, shall record the
20 certified document in the Recorder's office in the county in
21 which the land is located.
22 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
23 becoming law.
