1 AN ACT making an appropriation to the State Board of
2 Education.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. In addition to any other amount that may be
6 appropriated for this purpose, the sum of $3,500,000, or so
7 much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated for
8 Fiscal Year 1999 from the General Revenue Fund to the State
9 Board of Education for grants associated with substance abuse
10 and violence prevention.
11 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
12 becoming law.
