91_SB0081eng SB81 Engrossed LRB9101837JMdv 1 AN ACT to amend the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois 2 by adding Section 55.95. 3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 4 represented in the General Assembly: 5 Section 5. The Civil Administrative Code of Illinois is 6 amended by adding Section 55.95 as follows: 7 (20 ILCS 2310/55.95 new) 8 Sec. 55.95. Asthma information. 9 (a) The Department of Public Health shall develop and 10 implement an asthma information program targeted at 11 population groups in Illinois with high risk of suffering 12 from asthma, including but not limited to the following: 13 (1) African Americans. 14 (2) Hispanics. 15 (3) the elderly. 16 (4) the obese. 17 (5) those exposed to environmental factors 18 associated with high risk of asthma. 19 (6) those with a family history of asthma. 20 (7) those with allergies. 21 (b) The Department's asthma information program shall 22 include but need not be limited to information about: 23 (1) the causes and prevention of asthma. 24 (2) the types of treatment for asthma. 25 (3) the availability of treatment for asthma.
