1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Mrs.
4 Birtheen Robinson of Chicago, Illinois, who recently passed
5 away; and
6 WHEREAS, Mrs. Birtheen Robinson was born June 28, 1933 in
7 Preston, Mississippi; her parents were Howard and Annie
8 Hollingsworth; and
9 WHEREAS, Mrs. Birtheen Robinson was educated in the
10 Preston School System and moved to Chicago at an early age;
11 she worked for Doctor Hinkson for many years as his
12 assistant; she later started her own day care where she
13 worked until her retirement last year; and
14 WHEREAS, Mrs. Birtheen Robinson was married to Henry
15 Buckingham and she later married Vi L. Robinson; and
16 WHEREAS, The passing of Mrs. Birtheen Robinson will be
17 deeply felt by all that knew and loved her, especially her
18 son, Rodney Lynn Buckingham; her daughter, Pamela
19 Robinson-Caruth; her brother, Leo (wife, Esther); her
20 sisters, Mary (husband, Roy), Margaret (husband, John), Marie
21 (husband, Zecharih), and Callie Mae (husband, W.G.); her
22 grandchildren, Ashley Nacole Caruth and Victor Jordan Caruth,
23 Jr.; her special friend, LeShawn Jacobs; and her nieces,
24 nephews, relatives, and friends; therefore, be it
25 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
26 NINETY-FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
27 we mourn, along with her many loved ones, the death of Mrs.
28 Birtheen Robinson of Chicago, Illinois; and be it further
29 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
30 presented to the family of Mrs. Birtheen Robinson.
