1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the House wishes to acknowledge
3 Dr. Robert A. Jordan, M.D., for his outstanding contribution
4 to the field of medicine in his community; and
5 WHEREAS, Dr. Robert A Jordan, M.D., has been in private
6 practice in the south suburbs of Chicago and Olympia Fields
7 for the past 20 years; he serves his patients with a
8 comprehensive plan that addresses the health needs of the
9 community, couples economic development, educates on health
10 and nutrition, and provides holistic medical services; and
11 WHEREAS, Dr. Jordan's commitment to the community and his
12 unrelentless effort to educate and uplift the youth of the
13 community, have led him and his wife of 37 years, Jeanette,
14 to establish the Far South Side Community Health Center, a
15 not-for-profit outreach entity that works conjointly with Dr.
16 Jordan's private practice, South Suburban Pediatrics, to
17 provide holistic health care services, such as a health fair
18 that provides back-to-school physicals, immunizations, and
19 dental screenings for over 700 students each year; and
20 WHEREAS, The Far South Side Community Health Center
21 provides ongoing clothes distribution from the medical
22 facility, gives incentives to students who maintain academic
23 excellence; distributes food baskets to the less fortunate
24 during the holidays, and provides medical service free of
25 charge to patients who are uninsured; and
26 WHEREAS, Dr. Robert A. Jordan, M.D., has shown his
27 dedication to the people of the south suburbs; he is a
28 physician that truly epitomizes medicine; his focus is not of
29 financial comfort or greed, but one of a man truly dedicated
30 to quality medical care and to his patients; therefore, be it
31 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE

1 NINETY-FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
2 we extend our deepest gratitude to Dr. Robert A. Jordan,
3 M.D., for his outstanding contributions in the field of
4 medicine and his devotion to the south suburban community;
5 and be it further
6 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
7 presented to Dr. Robert A. Jordan, M.D., as an expression of
8 our esteem.
