1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives are pleased to honor milestones in the lives
4 of citizens of the State of Illinois; and
5 WHEREAS, Mrs. Mary Anne Cigler is a dedicated teacher and
6 former principal; her love of teaching and the value of
7 education have made her a vital part of the State of
8 Illinois; and
9 WHEREAS, Mrs. Cigler has taught for 48 years in schools
10 within the State of Illinois and elsewhere; and
11 WHEREAS, Mrs. Cigler has spent many years at St. Thomas
12 the Apostle School in Hyde Park in Chicago, Illinois, and
13 will be ending her teaching career at this fount of education
14 on the Southside of Chicago; and
15 WHEREAS, Mrs. Mary Anne Cigler is to be commended for her
16 hard work and dedication to teaching young people; therefore,
17 be it
18 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
19 NINETY-FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
20 we congratulate Mrs. Mary Anne Cigler on her retirement as a
21 teacher at St. Thomas the Apostle School; we thank her for
22 her willingness to teach, educate, and impart wisdom to our
23 young people; and be it further
24 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
25 presented to Mrs. Mary Anne Cigler, along with our
26 appreciation and our best wishes for many happy retirement
27 years.
