1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of this Body are pleased to
3 recognize Isadore Edelstein on his ninetieth birthday; and
4 WHEREAS, He was born on August 12, 1909 in Chicago and
5 spent most of his single life on the south side, where he
6 graduated from Fenger High School; and
7 WHEREAS, He was an executive for many of the companies he
8 worked for, retiring at the age of eighty; and
9 WHEREAS, He is the proud grandfather of four and he has
10 one brother; and
11 WHEREAS, On August 1, 1999, he will be honored at a party
12 to be held at the Arrington Hotel in Evanston, hosted by his
13 son, Alan, and his daughter, Lynne; therefore, be it
14 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
15 NINETY-FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
16 we join in congratulating Isadore Edelstein on his ninetieth
17 birthday and wish him health and happiness in the future; and
18 be it further
19 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution shall
20 be presented to him as an expression of our admiration and
21 esteem.
