1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, High school athletics in Illinois have a long
3 and celebrated history of accomplishment; and
4 WHEREAS, Honoring the achievements of Illinois high
5 school athletes does not only express gratitude to heroes
6 from the past, but also offers inspiration for generations
7 yet to come; and
8 WHEREAS, The Illinois High School Athletic Hall of Fame
9 of Princeton, Illinois, has received the endorsement and is
10 recognized by the Illinois High School Association to be the
11 official high school athletic museum of the State of
12 Illinois; therefore, be it
13 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
14 NINETY-FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
15 we hereby recognize the Illinois High School Athletic Hall of
16 Fame at Princeton, Illinois, as the official high school
17 athletic museum of the State of Illinois; and be it further
18 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
19 presented to the Illinois High School Athletic Hall of Fame
20 at Princeton.
