1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of this Body were saddened to learn
3 of the death of Mrs. Frances Jean Jackson of Chicago on May
4 13, 1999; and
5 WHEREAS, She was born in Tucker, Arkansas, on November
6 12, 1941; she married James Jackson on June 7, 1964; and
7 WHEREAS, Mrs. Jackson accepted Christ at an early age and
8 was a member of West Englewood United Methodist Church for 26
9 years, where she served as President of the Ushers and was
10 the church's Financial Secretary; she was also a worthy
11 matron of the Order of Eastern Stars; and
12 WHEREAS, Her passing will be deeply felt by her family
13 and friends, especially her husband, James; her daughter,
14 Felita Jeanette Jackson-Clark; her son, Reginald Andre
15 Jackson; and her grandchildren, Reginald Andre Jackson, Jr.
16 and Terris LaVell Jackson; therefore, be it
17 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
18 NINETY-FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
19 we note with sorrow and regret the death of Mrs. Frances Jean
20 Jackson and extend our sincere condolences to her family and
21 friends; and be it further
22 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
23 presented to her husband, James Jackson.
