1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives wish to acknowledge the Fourth Annual
4 Centralia Relay for Life, to be held on June 11 and 12, 1999;
5 and
6 WHEREAS, The American Cancer Society will use the funds
7 raised by the benefit to aid in the fight against cancer; and
8 WHEREAS, The participants will gather at Evers Football
9 Field to begin the Relay for Life; through their hard work
10 and efforts, the fight against cancer can grow stronger;
11 therefore, be it
12 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
13 NINETY-FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
14 we congratulate the Relay for Life workers and volunteers for
15 continuing to support the American Cancer Society through
16 their hard work and dedication; and be it further
17 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
18 presented at the Fourth Annual Relay for Life in Centralia.
